Google Mail Offline

Recently Gmail updated my account to include offline email for my Google Mail. I logged in, hit the settings area and turned it on; on my windows machine it gets you to install an application and seems pretty cool, a nice way to type mails while off line (on a plane or where ever) and as soon as you get an internet connection it sends it and everything is sync'd with your WebMail on Google, throw it on multiple computers or what ever you like as long as its not an Apple.. It looks as though Apple is left behind once again. Before I get 100 comments about using IMap and your apple mail client most email providers don't support Imap (I know I know that .mac does but I'm not paying for the .me crap) So this allows web to be the same as on the computer as on another computer, anything I send from anywhere with any client is available anything anywhere anyhow.. Its great on a PC just not available on Apple OSX
