Google Mail Offline
Recently Gmail updated my account to include offline email for my Google Mail. I logged in, hit the settings area and turned it on; on my windows machine it gets you to install an application and seems pretty cool, a nice way to type mails while off line (on a plane or where ever) and as soon as you get an internet connection it sends it and everything is sync'd with your WebMail on Google, throw it on multiple computers or what ever you like as long as its not an Apple.. It looks as though Apple is left behind once again.
Apple Invents The Wheel
Apple invents the Wheel... Reminds me of when the Apple Zealots were sure that Apple invented the Pentium Processor when they switched to intel processors. This video is well done, I wonder how much the Onion spends on these
Mac Speed using OpenDNS
A Quick tip on speeding web browsing on my Powerbook or any other computer by using an alternative DNS Server. I had run into Safari being slow in the past and recomended a way to speed things up but I now have even an easier way, using a free service called Open DNS, its not a new service or anything but it sure works sweet, you simply go to their website http://www.opendns.com/ and on the right side there are two DNS numbers, you add those into your network settings in the system preferences and thats it for a basic easy way to do it.
